TN. POST Certified Patrol Officer
The City of Alcoa Police Department, a Tennessee Law Enforcement Accredited Agency and a CALEA Accredited Agency, is accepting applications for the position of TN POST Certified Patrol Officer.
Minimum qualifications include U.S. citizenship; be at least 21 years of age; HS/GED; valid Driver’s License; no felony convictions; must pass physical exam, drug screen and psychological exam and be free of any mental disorders; must complete polygraph examination, willing to have fingerprints on file with TBI; honorable military discharge only; be of good moral character as demonstrated by thorough background investigation by Police Dept.; must hold a current TennesseePOST certification. Candidates must be able to work twelve hour shifts (day and evening).
